Ataele Kegin, published at ataele.com, is a recipe journal. We keep it deliberately simple: there are no user accounts, no newsletters to subscribe to, and nothing to purchase. Even so, running a website involves a small amount of visitor information, and this page explains plainly what that is, where it goes, and what say you have in it.

Who runs this site

This website is operated by the company identified in the box at the end of this page. Whenever this policy says "we" or "us", it refers to that operator. Questions about anything written here can be directed to the postal address in that box.

The data a visit leaves behind

Like nearly every website, our hosting infrastructure automatically records basic technical details when a page is requested: an IP address, the date and time, the page viewed, the browser type, and the address of the referring page. These server records exist for security, uptime and troubleshooting. They are not used to build profiles of individual readers, and we do not attempt to link them to anyone's identity.

Advertising and Google AdSense

Ataele Kegin may display advertisements served through Google AdSense. Google, as a third party vendor, uses cookies, including the DoubleClick cookie, to serve ads based on a visitor's prior visits to this site and to other sites on the internet. This is standard behavior for ad supported publishing and it is governed by Google's own rules, not ours.

Every mainstream browser lets you view, restrict or delete cookies in its settings. The recipes on this site remain fully readable with cookies disabled.

If you choose to contact the operator at the postal address below, we will use whatever details you share only to respond to you. We do not add correspondents to marketing lists, and we do not sell, rent or trade contact information with anyone.

Retention

Technical server records are kept for the short period our hosting providers need them for security and diagnostics, then routinely overwritten. Correspondence is kept only as long as needed to resolve the matter it concerns.

Recipes and articles may link to other websites. Once you follow such a link, the privacy practices of that destination apply, and we encourage you to read them. This policy covers ataele.com only.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights to access, correct or request deletion of personal information an organization holds about you. Because this site collects so little, in most cases there will be nothing on file, but you are always welcome to ask using the contact details below, and we will respond honestly.

Children

This site publishes cooking content for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal details, contact us and we will delete them.

Changes to this policy

If our practices change, this page changes with them, and the date at the top is updated. Continued use of the site after a revision means the revised policy applies.
