These terms describe the small set of rules that apply when you read ataele.com. By opening and browsing the site you accept them. They exist mostly to state the obvious: this is an editorial cooking publication, its texts belong to its publisher, and recipes are shared for you to cook at home.

1. The nature of this site

Ataele Kegin is an independent online journal about the cooking of Brittany. It offers recipes, cooking notes and cultural context. It does not sell goods or services, does not process payments, and does not require registration. Access is free.

2. Permission to use the recipes

You are welcome, and encouraged, to cook every recipe on this site in your own kitchen, to print pages for personal use, and to share links to the site with anyone. What these terms do not grant is the right to republish our texts or page designs elsewhere, whether on another website, in an app, in print, or in a dataset, without prior written permission from the operator.

3. Intellectual property

The name Ataele Kegin, the written recipe texts, article copy, page layouts and graphic elements of this site are the property of the site operator or are used under license. Lists of ingredients as such are not claimed as property; the written expression around them is. Photographs displayed on the site are used under the license terms of their respective sources.

4. Reader conduct

You agree not to use the site in ways that interfere with its operation, including attempting to gain unauthorized access to its hosting, scraping it at disruptive volume, or using it to distribute unlawful material. Plain reading, printing and link sharing are always welcome.

5. Content is provided as is

We test our recipes with care, but the site and everything on it is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the content is error free or that access will be uninterrupted. Cooking involves judgment, heat and sharp tools; you remain responsible for how you cook, what you serve, and to whom. See our Disclaimer for more on this.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator of ataele.com will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the site or reliance on its content. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greatest extent the applicable law allows.

7. Third party sites and advertising

Pages may contain links to external websites and may display third party advertising. We are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of any external site, and a link or an advertisement is not an endorsement.

8. Changes

We may revise the site, its content and these terms at any time. Revised terms take effect when posted on this page, with the date above updated. Reading the site after a revision constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from them will be submitted to the competent courts of the operator's registered domicile, unless mandatory consumer law of your place of residence provides otherwise.
